Scholarship

Herndon-Reston Youth Lacrosse believes every child should have the opportunity to play, so we offer financial aid through the Fairfax County Youth Sports Athletic Scholarship Program.

Criteria for receiving an NCS athletic scholarship is

• the child receives Medicaid or F/R Lunch or the family receives SNAP, TANF, or housing assistance. 

The process is to register for the program and upload a snapshot or PDF of: 

• Child’s Medicaid card 
• Child’s Free/Reduced Lunch for the current school year 
• Family’s SNAP or TANF benefits letter with the child listed as a family member 

At the time of checkout, the parent needs to select “Apply for Financial Aid” and upload a snapshot or PDF of one of the above documents. Once we confirm the supporting document is valid, the fees are removed, and the parent receives an email with a link to pay any remaining balance due.  Parents should not be emailing documents or forms to lacrosse email. Its all done through the registration process.
