As the lacrosse playoff season heats up, our South Lakes Girls Varsity team is blazing a trail toward victory, preparing to face off against the formidable Oakton High School in the district championship game, taking place on Tuesday, May 14th, at 6:30 PM at Oakton High School.

Our journey to the district championship was marked by a thrilling victory over Madison High School, where our team, underdog by rank but giant in spirit, emerged victorious with a score of 9-7. This win wasn’t just a score; it was a statement.
The South Lakes team, rich in talent with 18 players from Herndon Reston Youth Lacrosse (HRYL) program, showcases the fruits of our community’s dedication to nurturing young athletes. Each player has grown through the ranks of HRYL, embodying the values of sportsmanship, teamwork, and respect — principles that define our code and our conduct on and off the field.
