Hey HRYL community!
We’ve got an exciting opportunity for our 8th-grade players who plan to attend South Lakes High School. A group of families are forming a South Lakes team to play in the Winter League program Fierce Nation. This team will play at the JV level, which will include 9th, 10th, and 8th graders. This is an incredible way for our athletes to gain valuable experience and prepare for high school lacrosse.
Here are the details:
- Cost: $199 per person
- Dates: Saturdays starting from December 7th
- Location: South County Middle School (no practices, games only)
- Game Format: 2 x 25-minute halves
- Tentative Dates: Dec 7, 14, 21, and Jan 4, 11, 18, 25
- Game Start Times: Between 12 PM – 7 PM
This league offers high-level competition, and while the games will challenge our players, it’s an excellent chance to grow and prepare for high school lacrosse.

Why Should You Participate?
This Winter League will help your child:
- Improve skills in a competitive environment
- Get a head start on high school-level play
- Build relationships with future teammates
We encourage our 8th graders to take advantage of this opportunity to challenge themselves, but also keep in mind that they will be playing against older opponents. It’s important to play smart and safe. The league is not affliated with South Lakes Athletics or Herndon Reston Youth Lacrssse. Many families from our program have played in this league in the past and had a great experience.
Don’t miss out on this fantastic opportunity to prepare for the next level!
Let’s continue to build skills, teamwork, and sportsmanship – and remember, it’s all about loving the game.
See you on the field!
