Hey HRYL families — most of you have a rare bye weekend coming up, and that means no games for our players. But just because we’re not taking the field doesn’t mean the learning stops!

One of the best ways for young athletes to grow their lacrosse IQ is by watching the game at the highest level. Whether it’s picking up on stick skills, off-ball movement, defensive positioning, or team communication, there’s so much to learn just by observing.

This weekend, we’ve got two incredible college matchups that we think every HRYL player should tune in for:

• Where: SECU Stadium, University of Maryland
• Who: No. 5 Maryland vs. Rutgers

  This one’s local — close enough for a quick drive and a perfect chance to catch elite D1 lacrosse in person. Maryland is one of the most storied programs in the country, and their high-tempo style is something our players can really learn from.
