Dear Families,

As we finalize our team rosters, we find ourselves in a unique position. Currently, we have a fantastic group of young athletes ready to take the field, but we’re facing a slight challenge. Our 12U and 10U teams have enough players to field teams, but we need a few more players to ensure we have enough subs. This scenario makes it difficult to ensure that all players get adequate rest during games and have the best possible experience.
Additionally, our 10U teams need another dedicated and passionate coach to guide our young athletes through their development and share in the joys of their achievements.
This is where we need your help. Our families are the best ambassadors for our program, and your networks could be the key to finding the 4-6 additional players needed for each team and a new coach for our 10U team. NO EXPERIENCE IS NECESSARY.
Here are a few ways you can assist:
- Spread the Word: Share information about our teams within your community—schools, neighborhood groups, sports clubs, and among friends and family who may have or know children interested in lacrosse. NO EXPERIENCE IS NECESSARY.
- Social Media: Use your social media platforms to post about our need for additional players and a coach. We can provide some text and images to make this easy. Just pull what you need from OUR FACEBOOK page.
- Personal Invitations: Sometimes, a personal invitation is the most effective. A direct conversation could make all the difference if you know someone who might be a good fit.
To make this easier, we’ve prepared a short message you can use to spread the word:
🥍 Join Our Lacrosse Family! 🥍
We’re looking for energetic and enthusiastic boys to join our 12U and 10U lacrosse teams and a motivated individual to coach one of our 10U teams. Join a supportive community, learn new skills, and experience the thrill of the game with Herndon Reston Youth Lacrosse. NO EXPERIENCE IS NECESSARY.
Thank you for your continued support and for being an integral part of our lacrosse family. Together, we can ensure that every child has the opportunity to play, learn, and grow with us this season.
Warmest regards,
